Pergoveris 900IU Injection is a fertility medicine which is combination of recombinant gonadotropins Follitropin alfa and Lutropin alfa used to treat women with infertility and are undergoing treatment for infertility like invitro fertilization.
Usage of Pergoveris must be avoided in case of cancer (ovary, breast or womb), tumor of hypothalamus, enlarged ovaries.

Mechanism of Action:
Follitropin alfa and lutropin alfa, the active ingredients in Pergoveris, are copies of the naturally produced hormones FSH and LH. Egg production in the body is induced by FSH, and egg release is induced by LH. Pergoveris helps women with FSH and LH deficiencies produce a follicle that will release an egg following an injection of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) by replenishing the missing hormones. This could make it easier for some women to achieve pregnancy.
